pentestwiki.org is a site dedicated to professional penetration testing, offensive security and ethical hacking knowledge and cybersecurity in general. It is based in standards such as PTES, CEH, OSSTMM among others.
The project was started on 6th August 2018 by Jacobo Avariento after passing the OSCP certification as a main point of centralized knowledge base instead of depending on many github, cheatsheets, webpages and blogs.
Jacobo started in cybersecurity around 2001 doing vulnerability research and exploit writing. He has worked as a consultant and penetration tester for top tier banks, the European Central Bank, pharmaceutical and automotive companies. Last years he has been working in Product Security for a leading mobile videogames American publisher.
He got a Master’s Degree in Computer Science and hold Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) and Certified Blockchain Security Professional (CBSP) certifications.
The main mission of this project is to provide a centralized platform with useful knowledge for system administrators, security engineers, penetration testers and bug hunters to help them to protect themselves, their customers and their companies. Together we can make a more secure Internet!
This is a site dedicated to professional penetration testing or ethical hacking. It is illegal to perform any action against any hosts without prior consent and it is only allowed against your own infrastructure or during a professional customer engagement with prior written consent. Also note that even with that requirements to perform security testing in Microsoft Azure or Amazon AWS you must notice them beforehand.
